Hours & Shifts offers free calculators for working hours, overtime, payroll hours, paid time off and shift schedules. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Estimates, not advice

The calculators and guides help you check and plan. They are not legal, tax, payroll or employment advice. Overtime and leave rules depend on your job, your employer, your contract or award and where you work, and they change. Your employer’s records and your local labour authority decide what you are owed.

Provided as is

We work to keep the calculations correct, and test them, but the site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Check important figures, such as pay or a schedule you will rely on, against your employer’s records. We are not liable for losses from using the site, to the extent the law allows.

Fair use

Use the site for its purpose. Don’t try to disrupt it or copy it wholesale. You may print, save and share the files you make with it.
